Woodridge Police Reports: DUI, Theft, Car Burglary

The Woodridge Police Department reported crimes and arrests through July 24.

A retail theft occurred at about 12:51 p.m. July 17 at Target, 2333 63rd St. An unknown female placed four speakers into a cart and exited the store without paying.

A theft occurred at about 5:45 p.m. July 17 in the 7900 block of Janes Avenue. An unknown person removed an iPhone which had been left unattended in the pool area of an apartment complex.

A burglary from motor vehicle occurred sometime between midnight and 10:21 a.m. July 18 in the 2400 block of Meadowdale Lane. An unknown person entered a parked vehicle and removed three fishing poles and a case of iced tea.

At about 10:10 p.m. July 19, Ronnie Portis, age 41 of the 7900 block of Burr Ridge Court, Woodridge, was charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing a peace officer and resisting a peace officer following a disturbance in the 7900 block of Burr Ridge Court.

Officers responded to reports of graffiti July 20 in the 2500 block of Crystal Court and in the 2400 block of Meadowdale Lane. An unknown person had spray-painted the side of a building and a sidewalk.

At about 11:23 p.m. July 22, Nicholas Malone, age 24 of Ascot Lane, Willowbrook, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop in the 7600 block of Lemont Road.
