Woodridge Police Reports: Retail Theft, Burglary, Property Damage
The Woodridge Police Department reported crimes and arrests through May 22.

At approximately 5:21 p.m. May 16, Stephanie Markmann, age 29 of the 6100 block of Knollwood Road, Willowbrook, and Dorothy Nava, age 67 of 6100 block Knollwood Road, Willowbrook, were charged with retail theft after they attempted a fraudulent exchange of merchandise at Kohl’s, 1001 75th Street.
A criminal damage to vehicle occurred sometime between 3 p.m. on May 17 and 12:20 p.m. May 18 in the 2100 block of Apple Lane. Someone broke the rear window of a parked vehicle.

At approximately 2:19 p.m. May 18, Simonas Taruska, age 18 of the 10 block of Kildeer Court, Woodridge, was charged with retail theft after removing a pair of shoes from Shoe Carnival, 1001 75th Street, without paying.
At approximately 7 p.m. May 18, Cristian Perez, age 19 of the 200 block of Woodstock Avenue, Clarendon Hills, was charged with retail theft and possession of alcohol by a minor and Alexia Kousnetz, age 20 of the 800 block of S. Adams Street, Westmont, was charged with retail theft after removing items from Kohl’s, 1001 75th Street, without paying.

A burglary took place sometime between 10 p.m. May 19 and 12:30 p.m. May 20 at Dairy Queen, 2015 West 75th Street. Someone made entered the business and removed about $400 in cash.
A burglary from motor vehicle took place sometime between 11 p.m. May 20 and 3:45 a.m. May 21 in the 6400 block of Double Eagle Drive. Someone broke out the front passenger side window of a parked vehicle and removed a GPS unit.
A retail theft occurred at approximately 2:32 p.m. May 21 at Royal Tobacco, 3325 West 75th Street. Someone removed two cartons of cigarettes without paying.
