Woodridge Police Reports: Tire Slashed, Retail Theft, Bicycle Theft

The Woodridge Police Department reported crimes and arrests through June 12.

A theft occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. June 5 in the 7200 block of Janes Avenue. Someone removed a bicycle from outside of Jefferson Junior High School.

At approximately 4:55 p.m. June 6, Emily Ludwig, age 18 of the 1000 block of Norfolk Street, Downers Grove, was charged with retail theft after removing an item of jewelry from Kohl’s, 1001 75th Street, without paying.

At approximately 11:31 a.m. June 8, Gerardo Soano-Vasquez, age 21 of the 8900 block of N. Wisner Street, Niles, was charged with retail theft after removing miscellaneous items from Kohl’s, 1001 75th Street, without paying.

At approximately 5:08 p.m. June 8, Steven Anderson, age 24, of the 11300 block of S. Lothair Avenue, Chicago, was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving too fast for conditions following the investigation of a traffic accident on Lemont Road at 101st Street.

A criminal damage to vehicle occurred sometime between 9 p.m. June 8 and 9:20 p.m. June 10 in the 2200 block of Country Club Driven. Someone slashed the front passenger side tire and used an object to damage the passenger side body of a parked car.

A theft occurred sometime between 2 p.m. June 7 and 10 a.m. June 9 in the 2900 block of 75th Street. Someone removed a bicycle from the yard of a private residence.
