Woodridge Rotary Club 2016 Service above Self Scholarships Now Open

Scholarship Opportunities for service-oriented high school seniors.

The Woodridge Rotary Club is seeking applicants for its Service Above Self Scholarships. The $2,000 award recognizes exceptional community service performed by graduating high school student(s) pursuing higher education. The scholarships fund advanced education at colleges, trade or technical schools. Eligible applicants include Village of Woodridge residents as well as non-residents where Woodridge is the primary Rotary Club. Two scholarships are available.

The Rotary Club is looking for students who have made a difference in the wider community by enriching the lives of others, especially those in need. Students must have a C average or better to be eligible.

Applications are available at the Woodridge Public Library, at www.woodridgerotary.org, or at Guidance Counselor’s Offices at Downers Grove North and South High Schools, Benet Academy, Montini Catholic High School and Lemont High. Deadline for applications is Tuesday, April 5, 2016.
