Woodridge School District 68 is teaming up with the Village of Woodridge to produce the event, which, according to the district, will work “to create safer routes for walking and bicycling and emphasizing the importance of issues such as increasing physical activity among children, pedestrian safety, traffic congestion, concern for the environment and building connections between families, schools and the broader community.”

Alongside students, parents and teachers will be Woodridge Mayor Gina Cunningham, Superintendent of Schools Cathy Skinner and John L. Sipley Principal Don Mrozik.
