Work Continues On New Gym At ARC
The Woodridge Park District plans to open a new multi-activity gymnasium in the spring.
WOODRIDGE, IL - Construction on the new multi-activity gymnasium at the Woodridge Park District's Athletic Recreation Center continues in early November and remains to be on schedule for a spring 2018 completion date.
The new 7,500-square foot gym on the property at 8201 S. Janus Avenue has completed exterior rough-in, brick and masonry, roof, mounting of electrical panels, 1st and 2nd floor water cooler rough-in and door and window frames, according to a news release from the Woodridge Park District.
Work scheduled for November includes drywall, window installation, final grading and concrete flatwork, exterior concrete completion, exterior fixtures installation and excavation for a new park shelter on the north side of the ARC.
