1 Dead After Car Hit by Semi
A red Sedan crossed the center line and was struck by an oncoming semi.
YORKVILLE, IL — A person died Monday afternoon after a car veered into the path of a semi, according to the Yorkville Police Department.
Police say at around 1:02 p.m. a red Sedan traveling southbound on Route 47 just north of Somonauk Street crossed the center line and was hit by a semi traveling northbound on Route 47.
The Illinois State Police assisted the Yorkville Police Department with accident reconstruction.
