2018 Kendall County Fair and 4-H show

New Low Price, great shows, competitions for all ages. Check out the choices and be prepared to compete in August. Sign up in July.

Kendall County fair is your fair, come and see.

New this year at the Fair: Low entry prices, Open Rabbit Show and a Brand New carnival this year. Entry is only $5 per adult per day and $4 per child.

The fair opens on Thursday with the American Legion flag ceremony at noon and ends with the Parade of Champions on Sunday. It features many fun things in between. We have a Kids Event Tent, barns and tents full of rabbits, goats, pigs and cows; 3 Magic shows on Saturday, Food Booths, Touch a Truck, Wood Carver shows and Commerical Exhibits daily. There are live animals shows each morning, with adult and kids cooking competitions, Antique Tractor parade, and talent contests. There are bands daily on the main stage starting at 5 pm, displays, face painting and much more. We have some of the best eatings in the county at our event.
Everyone can come and compete with your best flowering plant, or just an individual stem, arts and crafts or artwork, woodworking, photos, that delicious pie with the flaky crust, best food perserves, or that homesewn garment. If you are not specially inclined to cook or sew and still want to compete, get your team to gether to try winning in the Ice Cream Eating Challenge, Cornhole or Mud Volleyball Tournament. You are invited to just watch as well. Individual contests include making chocolate chip cookies or competing with your homemade salsa, eating the most corn on the cob or the fastest at scarfing up watermelon. The regular events are the Western Speed show and Karaoke on Thursday, Truck and Tractor Pull and bands on Friday night, the livestock Auction and more bands on Saturday and the Church service and Demolition Derby on Sunday.
