2018 Yorktoberfest, Halloween Egg Hunt: Festive Fun Guide
A list of this year's festive fun scheduled for Yorktoberfest, including egg hunt.

YORKVILLE, IL — Egg hunts aren't just for Easter, thanks to this year's Yorktoberfest taking place Saturday, Oct. 13 at Riverfront Park, 131 E. Hydraulic Avenue. The United City of Yorkville invites the public to join in on the fun, along with Kiwanis Club and Knights of Columbus, for the 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. event consisting of food, music, children's activities, hayrides the pumpkin pull and more. End the fun and festive day with the free Halloween Egg Hunt for children 10 and under at 7 p.m. in Town Square Park, 301 N. Bridge Street, so don't forget to wear your costume, bring a flashlight and a container for candy-filled eggs.

- Tiffany Marie: 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Tim Gleason: 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- The Scott Marek Band: 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Les Richardson: 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Jackie Lee: 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Family activities - 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.:
- Hayrides: Ride around Riverfront Park next to the Fox River on a John Deere while checking out the park's new features.
- Pumpkin Decorating: Paint, glue and decorate a free pumpkin. There will be a limit of one pumpkin per family while supplies last, according to event organizers.
- Haystack Hunt: Children can dig through hay as they search for hidden objects to turn in for prizes. Everyone is guaranteed to be a winner during this free event, which will be held every half-hour starting at 12 p.m., with the last hunt set for 4:30 p.m.
- Bounce Houses: Free for all ages.
Pumpkin Pull - 4:30 p.m.

- Buy a pumpkin and cheer it on during the event where hundreds of pumpkins race down the Fox River. The event is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and there will be chances to win dozens of prizes. Pumpkins can be purchased at the event for $5 a pumpkin or $10 for three pumpkins while supplies last.
There will also be several food trucks and vendors, plus beers served in the Biergarten.
