9th Annual Red Paw Chili Supper Oct. 22
More than 20 chefs plan to showcase their unique chili recipes during the supper while competing for one of three top chef awards.

YORKVILLE, IL — The 9th Annual Red Paw Chili Supper hosted by the Yorkville Music Boosters will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 5-7 pm in the Yorkville High School cafeteria. The music boosters invite the public, students and their families to attend this extremely popular, music-filled, fundraising event.
Over twenty chefs plan to showcase their unique chili recipes during the supper while competing for one of three top chef awards. Visitors may sample or eat as much chili as they would like in addition to cornbread, beverages, and chili bar fixings. For kids and non-chili eaters, hotdogs will be available. An amazing variety of delicious desserts will follow the chili fare.
After sampling the chili, attendees will have the unique opportunity to judge and vote for their favorite recipe. New this year, first through third place prizes will be awarded to those chefs who have received the most votes for their chili recipes.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to win many exciting prizes by purchasing raffle tickets during the supper. Numerous sponsors have graciously supported the music program by donating an unprecedented number of fabulous products and services valued over $4,000.

In addition to sampling delectable chili and desserts, attendees will enjoy entertainment provided by Yorkville’s very own music students. Throughout the evening, these students will share their musical talent by playing in several unique mini concerts. The grand finale begins at 7 p.m. featuring the wildly popular YHS Marching Foxes performing their show music from “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.”
Pre-sale tickets are available until October 18th and are $7 per person. Children under 5 are free. Purchase tickets in advance at YHS home football games or by contacting any Yorkville Music Director. Tickets are also available through music booster President, Melissa Castilla.
