YORKVILLE, IL — With the month of all things spooky still some weeks away, Spirit Halloween is getting ready for the season.
Known as the world's largest specialty Halloween retailer, Spirit Halloween will open 56 stores in Illinois, including one in Yorkville, the only location in Kendall County.
Most Spirit stores pop up annually in empty retail buildings. In Yorkville, it opened in September at 825 Erica Lane, the former Signature Fitness Club building.
The location is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
