3. Lake Michigan water line project to close section of Roth Road in Oswego starting Friday (shawlocal.com) — A major Lake Michigan water pipeline project that will eventually serve Yorkville is prompting a two‑week closure of Roth Road in Oswego starting Friday, with detours posted for drivers. While the immediate disruption is in Oswego, the long‑term WaterLink project will replace Yorkville's stressed deep‑aquifer supply with a more reliable Lake Michigan source, backed by federal and state financing.
4. IU Kokomo celebrates August 2026 graduates · (casscountyonline.com) — Yorkville is represented among Indiana University Kokomo's August 2026 graduates, with resident Luke Anteneh Hanson earning a Master of Business Administration.
