Bomb Squad Called to Yorkville for Possible Explosive Device

YORKVILLE, IL — The Kane County Sheriff’s Department Bomb Squad was called to the 11200A block of W. Fox Road in Yorkville Sunday evening for a report of a possible explosive device.

Police responded to the area at 9:01 p.m. and safely removed the device, according to a press release from the Yorkville Police Department. It is unknown what the suspicious device consisted of.
