A Taste of Girl Scouts
A "Taste of Girl Scouts is scheduled for March 19th and 20th for two local schools.
It's that time of year again! Girl Scouts is gearing up to form new troops! A casual informational meeting is scheduled at Autumn Creek Elementary School for Tuesday, March 19th from 5:30-6:30pm. On Wednesday, March 20th we will be at Grand Reserve Elementary School also from 5:30-6:30. Handouts were given to girls at both of these schools to take home to Mom and Dad. If you are unable to attend but would like some information emailed, please contact Samantha Biskup at sami2448@yahoo.com. Come by, get your information, and have a piece of cake! If these schools are not convenient for you, but would like to find out what Girl Scouts is all about, please contact me as well! Girl scouts can be joined at any time in the year.That's not all! Girl Scouts is working hard and preparing for a Day Camp at Harris Forrest Preserve which will be held from June 24th-June 28th, 2013. Information will be forthcoming, but please contact Amy Wormley at amy.wormley@att.net to volunteer or register. Lots of thought and effort is being put together to offer a day camp close to home!
