Kendall County Property Tax Revolt - Growing & Growing

A day doesn't go by that we aren't getting more taxpayers who are just fed-up with what they have to pay in property taxes and are joining our ranks. Oswego has stepped up and is planning a Property Tax Protest on July 13th. Below is a letter that gives the details. If you can join us please take the time to attend. This isn't for just Oswego taxpayers but for anyone living within Kendall County who is finally standing up and telling the school boards, county board, and city councils that they can't take any more. It is time to stop the insanity in taxes. Here is coordinator Jan's letter of invite:

A few concerned Oswegoans will be holding a Tax Rally on July 13, 2012 at Hudson Crossing Park from noon to 8:00pm.  All are invited to attend to learn how we can become involved and work together to stabilize the real estate taxes levied on our homes and properties.
 
A special invitation goes out to all citizens in Kendall County who are concerned about their children's and grandchildren's ability to fund this out of control taxation.  What better way to help them and show the next generations that we care and want to improve and preserve a great community envirornment, than by attending a few meeting on their behalf.
 
Retired Seniors with all their professional and life experience might want to consider putting their talents to work for a much needed cause.  For those able Retirees this is an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy.  Hope to see you at the Rally.
