My Very Sunny Rainy Day

Hi Everybody,

I just wanted to put a little sunshine in your evening. Today I ate lunch with my friend Kathy at McDonald's here in town. As I was munching my chicken nuggets I was looking at a framed McDonald's race suit that was two different shades of blue. It had the Moon Man on it. The Moon Man was a character in the early nineties that was a half moon with a smile and sunglansses. It reminded me of my Great Aunt Rene. You see twenty years ago at her 50th Birthday Party we were at the Rock and Roll McDonald's and she was dancing with the Moon Man. It was a guy dressed in the Moon Guy Suit, but I remember us having a really good time and her cutting the rug with the Moon Man.

After McDonald's I went to get my haircut, it was a longer wait today but I met these two really great kids how were playing I Spy. After the boy's mom said "Zachary" I said "That's my name"  Pretty soon I was playing rousing rounds of I spy with Zach and his little brother Lane. Zach is celebrating his tenth birthday this Friday. After I played I Spy with the two boys, I had a great haircut with a really nice and talkative  stylist. She did a great job on my haircut. I realized what a great day I had and I didn't care about the weather. I was singin' in the rain.

A Very Happy early 10th Birthday to Zach and his family, may there be many more to come. The weather is only how you perceive it. I hope you had a very sunny rainy day!
