Shopping Local: The UPS Store

The Yorkville is a locally owned and family operated franchise.  They are located at 1905 Marketview Drive, Yorkville. My business uses the UPS store services quite often, and we have really gotten to know the owners. Each time I go into the store they greet me and ask how business is.

Today I head into the UPS store to check my PO Box, have them make me some copies and send out a package.  As soon as the doorbell rings they yell out “How’s it going today? What can we do for ya?” I give them a sample copy and ask about color copying. He asks a couple questions and gives me a price, which is way better than any other copy place I’ve gone. I hand him a package all ready to be shipped out, but if I didn’t have the materials for shipping, they could do that for me.  Then I check my PO Box and let them know I’ll be back in an hour to grab my color copies.

Each time I go into the store, there is very little wait time and I am given excellent customer service. A couple years ago they even kept a donation box in the store for my Presents for Pets campaign.  Even though the UPS store is a national chain, the owners don’t treat you like a number. They go above and beyond for each customer and it’s why I chose to use their services over other shipping and postal companies.

This holiday season, as you package up all the gifts you need to ship to loved ones far away, remember the Yorkville UPS store. They will greet you with a smile; get all your packages safely on their way and even help you with your other office needs.
