Tribute To The Troops

This post is dedicated to all of our men and women who wear or have worn this nation's uniform. They are:

The United States Army
The United States Air Force
The United States Navy
The United States Marine Corps
The United States Coast Guard
The United States National Guard

A specal thank you to all of you. We need you, we love you and we appreciate you more than you will ever know. You are the real superheroes. For you there are no stunt doubles or x-ray vision. Your special power is the power of love. It is because of you that we celebrate this auspicious day. Because of you our world is safer, because of you we smile and say "We are proud to be Americans." 

Everyone knows of someone who served or serves right now. Remember freedom is only freedom because of what these special people do. No one asks for them to be away from their families in strange lands, no one asks that they make the ultimate sacrifice. Some unfortunatley have paid that sacrifice. This speaks to no religion, no political agenda.

Today as everyday we are humbled Americans. As humble Americans I ask you to go to joiningforces.gov and see what you can do to help a servicemember in our community. Remember this is the day to say thank you.
