Car Burglary, Damage Windshield: Yorkville Police Blotter
All three non-accident incidents had to do with suspects stealing from, trespassing in, or damaging cars.
Police responded to the 1400 block of Cannonball Trail after a car burglary Thursday morning. The victim left her passenger side window open as she went inside shopping, the police report said. Ten minutes later, her buse was missing, which included credit cards, her license and $250 in cash.
Police reported that over Wednesday night, several unlocked cars were victim to trespassers on Spring, Park and Church streets. No items were reported stolen.
An unknown suspect damaged the windshield of a car on the 100 block of Appletree Court sometime between 7:45 a.m. and 2 p.m.
