Child Pornography Investigation Leads To Yorkville Man's Arrest

YORKVILLE, IL — The Yorkville Police Department said a nearly two-year investigation has resulted in the arrest of a 57-year-old man for child pornography. Yorkville police said Mike R. Vaughn, of the 1400 block of Chestnut Court, Yorkville, was arrested by members of the Yorkville Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff's Office on 12 counts of child pornography.

Police said the investigation into Vaughn began in October 2016, and the department was also assisted by members of the DuPage County Sheriff's Office, Illinois Attorney General's Office, and the Kendall County Sheriff's Office and sheriff's office's Special Response Team.
