Community Garden in Oswego

Resolution Church,

5313 Rte 34 in Oswego, has started

a community garden in the field west of the church. There are a lot of great

things planted there already! You can be a part of this garden—you do not have to
attend Resolution to use it. (That's why it's a Community

Garden.) We want it to serve our
community and offer good food to our neighbors.

There are not specific personal plots; rather, the entire garden is planted in

useful vegetables, herbs, and flowers free for anyone who follows the simple

rules. There are only three rules for using the garden:

--You contribute a half hour per week (or less, depending on
need) helping maintain the garden. This could be weeding, watering, or planting

new rows as vegetables finish their season. We'll have a sign there to offer

suggestions on what needs doing.

--You contribute some of the produce to the Kendall County Food Pantry (208

Beaver St, Yorkville). We will do this as a church

periodically, but you will be greatly enriched yourself by going to see

the  great work they do for our community.

--No pesticides or herbicides in our garden, please. We want to make sure

everything stays as healthy as possible.
