Deer Not 'Located' After Crash; Driver OK: Yorkville Crime Logs
Yorkville police and the Kendall Co. Sheriff's Office report recent, local crime in the area.

Battery
Kendall County Sheriff's Deputies Arrested 59-year-old Lisa Guide on a warrant out of Kendall County on a battery charge at 12:54 a.m., Nov. 9 in the 8000 block of Van Emmon. Guide's bond was set at $5,000 and she was taken to the Kendall County Sheriff's jail.

Wednesday, Nov. 7
Suspicious phone call
The Kendall County Sheriff's Office said they're investigating a suspicious harrassment phone call that took place at 1:10 p.m., Nov. 7 in the 100 block of Fox Road. Police said the case is under investigation.
Tuesday, Nov. 6
Retail theft
The Kendall County Sheriff's Office said 35-year-old Daniel Lee Jacobs, of the 0-100 block of Bonnie Lane, was arrested Nov. 6 and charged with retail theft at 10:38 a.m.
Driving while license suspended
The Yorkville Police Department said 21-year-old Dallas W. Wynkoop, of the 300 block of E. Market Street, Hennepin, was arrested after police conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation at Route 47 and Orange Street at 12:08 a.m., Nov. 6. During the stop, police said it was discovered Wynkoop's license was suspended. He was arrested and taken to Kendall County Jail.
Monday, Nov. 5
Criminal damage to property
Kendall County Sheriff's Deputies said they took a report at 5:50 p.m., Nov. 5 at the Kendall County Jail regarding a person in custody who was reported to have caused damage to state property. The sheriff's office said an investigation is ongoing.
Deer incident
The Yorkville Police Department said a 2017 Chevrolet Express LS being driven by 78-year-old Jeffery Glover, of the 2500 block of North 45th Road, Leland, was headed westbound on Route 126, just west of Wooden Bridge Drive when a deer ran out in front of the van, which hit the deer. Police said no injuries were reported, the vehicle didn't need towed, and the deer was unable to be located.
