Domestic Battery, Burglary: Yorkville Police Blotter

Here's some of what Yorkville police were up to on Wednesday.

Yorkville police were notified around 10:20 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14, that a child may have been battered between nine months and one year ago in the 1400 block of Cannonball Trail. No further information has been released, but police are investigating.

Police responded to a business on the 4500 block of Rosenwinkel Street around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, after an employee saw an unauthorized person in the business on a surveillance video. The unauthorized man use a pass card that didn't belong to him to get into the business, where he stole two plastic folding tables.

A Yorkville woman was arrested Wednesday, March 14, around 2:25 p.m. for an outstanding in-state warrant. Gloria Moore, 69, of the 2000 block of Emerald Lane was taken into custody after police were investigating "a suspicious circumstance" and found that Moore had a warrant for a violation of a court order.

No arrests were made in a domestic battery incident that happened Wednesday, March 14 around 5:20 p.m. in the 1000 block of Goldfinch Avenue. The two involved in the battery were a father and a son and no medical attention was needed.
