Yorkville Teen Charged In Shooting
The 18-year-old was in a car being driven by a juvenile when he fired shots, police said.

YORKVILLE, IL — An 18-year-old Yorkville man was in custody after police say he opened fire at an occupied vehicle in the 200 block of Veterans Parkway early Wednesday. Police said they responded to a report of shots fired at 2:02 a.m.
Investigators determined that Richard Camacho, of the 1200 block of Marketplace Drive, fired at the victims' vehicle while being driven in another car by a male juvenile, police said.
None of the victims were hurt, and no one was shot, according to police, who said Camacho knew the victims.

Camacho is charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm.
Charges are pending against the juvenile driver of Camacho's vehicle.

Yorkville police were assisted by the Kendall County Sheriff's Office and Kendall County Criminal Intelligence Team, according to police.
