Driver Dead After Single-Vehicle Crash
Police say the driver went off the road and struck a tree.
One person has died after a single-vehicle crash Saturday night.
At around 11:24 p.m. April 23, Yorkville police were called to the area of Galena Rd. and E. Beecher Rd. for a single-vehicle accident with injuries.

Upon arrival, officers found a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo that appeared to have been driven off the road near the southwest corner of the intersection and struck a tree. The driver of the vehicle died in the crash.
The Illinois State Police were called to the investigate the crash.
