Elisabeth Von Trapp to sing at Opera House
Rogers and Hammerstein songs sung by Elisabeth von Trapp at the Sandwich Opera House at 3pm on Sunday April 30, 2017.

Elisabeth’s Von Trapp’s earliest memories are the sounds of music. Elisabeth is the granddaughter of legendary Maria and Baron von Trapp, whose story inspired "The Sound of Music." Singing professionally since childhood, Elisabeth has performed all over the world, enchanting audiences from European cathedrals to the Kennedy Center. Building on her famed family’s legacy, Elisabeth has created her own musical style, at once ethereal and earthy, delicate and powerful.
The performance starts at 3:00 pm at the historic Opera House in Sandwich on April 30th. There she will perform a collection of Rogers and Hammerstein classics as well as some of her own favorites. Tickets are only $30 in advance and $35 at the door the day of the event (plus credit card fees). For your convenience tickets are available online through the website at www.sandwichoperahouse.org, on the Sandwich Opera House Facebook page, by phone 815-786-2555, or in person. The box office is open weekday afternoons from noon until 4pm and 1 hour before each event. The Sandwich Opera House is located at 140 East Railroad Street, in Sandwich, Illinois.
