"Wiley and the Hairy Man" rehearsals already have the cast and production team laughing. Come by for a FUN and FREE family show, while having a great time at Yorkville's Hometown Days! This production will be staged inside the Beecher Community Center at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, September 3 and 4.
In this Southern Folktale, “Wiley” (played by Rachel Eaton) must go into the swamp to cut wood despite the frightening presence of the “Hairy Man” (Robert Allen). With the advice of her “Mammy” (Laura Allen), and the support of her magical companions (played by Taylor Vicini, Genevieve Schloesser, Debbie Allen and Robin Earnest), “Wiley” must overcome her own fear in order to defeat the “Hairy Man”.
