This class will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Mondays from Sept. 19 to Oct. 3 at the Rookery Building of the Hoover Forest Preserve.
The class is for kids ages seven to 10 who are homeschooled.
Students will study history, daily life, food, games and other topics related to Native American tribes who once lived in the area.

Students will also spend time in the Forest Preserve's re-created Pottawatomi village, Neshnabe’k, at the forest preserve.
