Energetic Health Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine will host a Reiki class for beginners. This eight hour class will be
offered in two sessions, on Saturdays, Aug. 11 and 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. presented by Jane Van De Velde, DNP, RN and Sandy LaBianco-Brown, RMT Reiki Master Teachers from the Reiki Share Project.
The Reiki Share Project is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization dedicated to providing Reiki training and education to groups of individuals and caregivers facing serious illness, disability or trauma. Through their classes and community outreach programs, they teach and support the practice of Reiki, a complementary healing practice that facilitates health and well-being through self-treatment and treatment of others. An innovative leader, The Reiki Share Project empowers individuals to participate in their own healing process; integrates the practice of Reiki into health care systems, community-based organizations, and emergency management services; and fosters a caring and supportive wellness community.
Both Saturday sessions must be attended to complete the Reiki beginner class, cost of program is $110. The class will be held at Energetic Health, 215 Hillcrest Avenue, Yorkville. Space is limited and reservations are required. Call 630-553-1783 to reserve a place in class.
