The Ninth Annual Cardboard Boat Race will be held at Mastodon Lake in Phillips Park in Aurora.
Registration is closed for the event, but those interested in watching the race are welcome to attend.
The race will feature human-powered and mechanical boat categories, as well as junior, adult, business, non-profit and community divisions.
Trophies and special awards will be given out.

The first race will begin at 10:30 a.m., with awards to be distributed at 12:30 p.m.
