Yorkville High School students will bring the musical "Bye Bye Birdie” to the stage in the Yorkville Middle School Auditorium. Performances are set for 7 p.m. on Friday, May 13, and Saturday, May 14.
“Bye Bye Birdie” takes a satirical look at what happens when an Elvis Presley-inspired character is drafted and prepares to leave his rock-and-roll music career behind to serve in the U.S. Army in 1958.
