Fake Prescription Arrest, DUI Crash: Yorkville Police Reports

Recent arrests and incidents in Yorkville.

March 21: Ana Flores, 33, of the 100 block of 17th Street, Melrose Park, was arrested on a charge of DUI after a two-vehicle crash on Route 47 a half-mile north of Galena Road. Yorkville police said Flores' car failed to navigate a curve before entering the oncoming lane. The other driver managed to avoid a head-on collision, but the passenger side of Flores' car struck the passenger side of the other vehicle before Flores' car continued into a field and struck a culvert, police said. Flores was taken to Rush-Copley Hospital in Aurora and charged with DUI and improper lane use.

March 21: Rickey Jamison, 54, of the 5800 block of West Division Street, Chicago, was arrested after Yorkville police responded to the 1600 block of North Beecher Road for a report of someone using a fraudulent prescription form to try to obtain a prescription for pain medication. Jamison was charged with unauthorized possession of a prescription form.
