Five Yorkville Businesses Cited For Alcohol Sales to Minors

Cops say employees at businesses sold alcohol to undercover minors.

Yorkville police officersΒ caught five businesses allegedly selling alcohol to undercover minors during a liquor compliance check sting on Monday.

Police said that employees at the local business were issued tickets and ordered to appear at adjudication hearings at Yorkville City Hall.

The violations occurred at the following Yorkville businesses:

  • Corner Liquor and Grocery, 102 W. Fox Road
  • Rowdy’s Sports Bar and Grill, 210 S. Bridge S.
  • Sunfield’s Restaurant, 382 E. Veterans Parkway
  • Walgreens, 1991 S. Bridge St.
  • Wings Etc. 1447 Cannonball Trail

The police department runs alcohol and tobacco age compliance checks about four times per year.
