Fugitive Apprehended Thanks To Crime Stoppers Tip: Sheriff

Ericka Walker was recently featured in a Kendall County "Fugitive Fridays" post.

YORKVILLE, IL — A crime stoppers tip helped police apprehended a fugitive who's been wanted since 2016, police said. Ercika Walker, 46, of Yorkville, was wanted on a Kendall County warrant for failing to appear in court on a charge of criminal damage to state property. Police said walker was recently featured on the Kendall County Sheriff's Office Facebook page as a "Fugitive Fridays" post.

Walker was apprehended thanks to a tip received through KenCom Public Safety Dispatch, according to police. She had been at large since Nov. 2, 2016.
