Girl Scouts Host Area Internet Cafés for Spring Registration

Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois (GSNI) has opened spring registration for all current girl and adult members. Spring registration allows current members to re-register for the 2014–15 Girl Scout year now, as opposed to September 30, 2014, when the membership year ends. Early registration helps girls, their families, and volunteers easily stay connected to Girl Scouts over the summer and during the busy back-to-school season. Members can now re-register online at www.girlscoutsni.org until June 15. Each member who re-registers receives a fun “Discover the Universe: Be a Girl Scout” patch.

GSNI will also host internet cafés at area locations to help members re-register. Girls who re-register at an internet café will receive a sheet of specially designed Girl Scout stickers and be entered in a drawing to win one of 18 Girl Scout mini-plush stuffed animals. A local internet café will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 4–8 p.m., at the Rush Copley Conference Room, 1100 W. Veterans Parkway, in Yorkville.
