Hair Pulling, Crystal Meth: Yorkville Police Reports

Recent incidents reported by Yorkville police.

March 22: Yorkville police took a report for identity fraud after someone open an account and rang up $900 in charges in the victim's name.

March 24: Daveon Lucas, 18, of the 2800 block of Spruce Street in Rock Falls, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance after being stopped for no rear registration plate light near Route 47 and Route 34 at 1:25 a.m. March 24, Yorkville police said. During the stop, police say they found that Lucas was in possession of crystal methamphetamine. A passenger in the car, 18-year-old Terrell Newman, 34, of the 3700 block of Pope Court, Plano, was cited for unlawful possession of cannabis.

March 24: Police took a report for a stolen cell phone in the 900 block of North Bridge Street.

March 25: Yorkville police took a report of a battery in the 1200 block of North Bridge Street in which a female victim told authorities a male friend had pulled her hair. She did not want to sign complaints against the alleged hair-puller.
