High Speeders, Domestic Battery: Kendall Sheriff Log

Kendall Sheriff's Deputies caught a couple high speeders and arrested an alleged domestic batterer, they reported.

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — Kendall County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a few domestic battery calls and caught two high speeders over Veterans' Day weekend, according to a release from the sheriff's office.

Charges listed below are not implications of guilt.

Soon after 7:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, deputies pulled over a car on Rt. 47 in Lisbon for driving 76 mph in a 45 mph construction zone. Leilani Mcgriff-Maj, 20, of New Lenox was cited and released at the scene.

Speeding 35 mph or More Over Limit

Around 12:50 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, deputies pulled over a car in the 1400 block of Eldamain Road in Bristol for driving 91 mph in a 45 mph zone. Fernando Molina, 45, of Montgomery, was cited for speeding 35 mph over the limit and for operating an uninsured car and released at the scene.

Domestic Battery

Soon after 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Fieldpoint Road in Oswego on a domestic battery report. They didn't provide any more information, but are investigation.

Around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Crescent Court in Oswego on a domestic battery report. They didn't provide any more information, but are investigation.

Domestic Battery

Around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, deputies responded to the 2700 block of Light Road in Oswego on a call from Oswego police on a domestic battery incident. Sheriff's deputies arrested Aaron, Vargas, 41, and charged him with domestic battery.
