Hix Brothers Ukulele Band Program @ the Yorkville Public Library

Thursday, August 25 @ 7:00 pm

Come listen to a wide variety of songs: Hawaiian, songs from the "Great American Songbook", Beatles, Rock and Roll, Jimmy Buffett, contemporary songwriters, even songs of Kiss and Styx. You might even see a hula dancer!

The Hix Brothers Ukulele Band was formed by Peter Hix when he began teaching a small uke class in 2011. The group, now lead by Carl Hix, has grown to more than 20 members of all ages who meet once or twice a week to learn new songs and practice their skills.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library and no registration is required.
