Hundreds Turn Out For New Planet Fitness Grand Opening

Over 500 people came out for the grand opening of the Planet Fitness club on March 18.

Many turned out to meet Addison, IL native, Toma Dobrosavljevic, winner of season 16 of NBC’s The Biggest Loser, who posed for pictures with fans and offered fitness and weight loss tips.

A woman told franchisee Luke Urban that she drove an hour to meet Dobrosavljevic.

The new Planet Fitness club at 4306 E. New York St. in Aurora is approximately 16,500 sq. ft. and will offer state of the art cardio machines and strength equipment, fully equipped locker rooms with day lockers and showers, numerous flat screen televisions, HydroMassage beds, massage chairs, tanning beds, and Total Body Enhancement booths. The club will be open and staffed 24 hours, seven days a week.

For the rest of the month, members can join the new club for $29 down and then $10 a month with no commitment through March 31.
