Juvenile Hit By Car In Yorkville: Police
Car accident injuries and more reported in recent Yorkville crime reports.

YORKVILLE, IL —

Accident with injury
Yorkville Police Department officials said at 9:15 a.m., Aug. 22, 31-year-old Cory Eaglesham, of the 400 block of Harden Street, Ottawa, was driving a 2004 Ford Explorer when he rear-ended a 2006 GMC Sierra being driven by 78-year-old Elaine Hicks at the stop light on Route 71 just south of Route 47. According to police, Hicks was taken to Rush Copley Medical Center with minor injuries. Eaglesham was issued a state citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said.

Juvenile hit by car
Yorkville Police Department officials reported officers were called to the 300 block of Mulhern Court for an accident where a juvenile was hit by a car at 6:56 p.m., Aug. 22. Police said the young person was hit when 32-year-old driver Alfredo Ocon, of the same location, was backing up a 2011 Kia Utility when the car collided with the pedestrian. The juvenile was taken to Rush Copley Medical Center with injuries, police reported.

Tuesday, Aug. 21
Possession
Kendall County Sheriff's Office officials reported 33-year-old William J. Larson, of the 500 block of W. Barberry Circle, Yorkville, was charged at 3:21 p.m., Aug. 21 with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and two counts of manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance.

Monday, Aug. 20
Intimidation
KCSO officials said deputies responded to the 1000 block of W. John Street in unincorporated Yorkville at 1:50 p.m., Aug. 20, for an intimidation call report, where the complainant told deputies he was verbally threatened by an individual to who he was a witness to a case. Sheriff's officials said the incident occurred at 11:55 a.m., Aug. 22 and is under investigation.
