Kendall County Blotter: Painted Slide, Burglars Raid Storage Barn

March 16
Antoine Davis, 30, of Aurora, was stopped for speed in a posted work zone at Rt. 71 and Orchard Road in Oswego. He was found to have a suspended license and was taken to corrections, police said.

Deputies stopped a car driven by Bryan Baskerville, 21, for speeded in the 10200 block of Walker road around 3:04 a.m. Baskerville was found to have a revoked driver’s license and drug paraphernalia. His passenger Megan Vickrey, 19, of Mendota, also admitted to drinking under age a few hours earlier. Both were taken to corrections, police said.
Someone painted a slide at Susan John Park, 29 Hampton Road, in Oswego.

Burglars stole a snow plow from 1620 Oswego Rt. 25, Oswego. While investigating the scene, deputies found that copper wire had also been removed a cellular tower. items were valued at $1,900.
March 13
Burglars raided a storage barn on Jones Road in Minooka, stealing $5,200 worth of power tools.
