Kendall County Democrats Moving Forward

by Eric Roberts

This has been an exciting election and I have had so much fun meeting so many people of Kendall County who represent so many values that we share in common. This November we have an opportunity to elect three women who represent all the things that we hold to value as residents of Kendall County. I am speaking of my friends Audra Hendrix and Kristine Heiman who are running to join our long time County Board member Elizabeth Flowers. Democrats at the County Board have built a record of fiscal responsibility advocating for more openness at the County Board like the redistricting hearings when for the first time there was an open forum with residents to come and share their vision of how County government should look. The contract negations with the unions that represent so many of our employees were fair and collective bargaining took place and successful results that benefitted the employees and the County; Democrats at the County have fought to keep our county healthy and looking long-term weathering the storm during the economic slowdown. Democrats have worked to better the quality of lives for every resident across Kendall County. We still have a lot of work to do this fall. Elizabeth , Kris, and Audra will fight for infrastructure improvements like the Route 30 expansion that benefits all of us here in Kendall County. Economic Development is part of a long term plan that coincides with the development of our road infrastructure. By creating economic opportunities, we offer small business owners the opportunity to join our community and prosper. County Democrats will continue to fight to stabilize property taxes and live within our means of balanced budgets. County Democrats like Kris and Liz have worked tirelessly with state and local leaders to bring resources back to the county. Audra has worked tirelessly as well to help local schools in Yorkville and is committed to the residents of all of Kendall county to fight for you. Audra is a fighter who has gone to advocate for the Kendall County Health Department that deliver so many important resources for the residents of Kendall County. This November I ask that you join me in supporting my friends Elizabeth Flowers for re-election and Kristine Heiman and Audra Hendrix to represent us at the county board.

Thank You,

Eric Roberts
