Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Hires Patrol Deputy

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The Kendall County Sheriff's Office has a new deputy sheriff. The sheriff's office announced the hiring of Scott R. Raughley II to fill an open position in the KCSO Patrol Division. Raughley, a former corrections officer at the Kane County Sheriff's Office, was sworn in Sept. 13 by Under Sheriff Harold Martin (both pictured), and will be attending Basic Police Training Academy starting Sept. 17, for 14 weeks, KCSO said.

After weeks at the training academy, Deputy Raughley will start field training during which he'll be paired with an experienced field training officer for four months of rigorous training.
