Kendall County Sheriff's Office Hires Two Patrol Deputies
New deputies will undergo a rigorous 12-week field training program.

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office has hired two new Deputy Sheriff’s to fill vacant positions in the Patrol Division. Kesja Hebda and Bradley Miller were sworn in on June 22 by Sheriff Dwight A. Baird. Deputy Hebda will be attending the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy beginning July 6 for a 12-week Basic Academy. Upon successful completion of the academy, Deputy Hebda will begin the field training program while Deputy Miller is already a certified police officer and will begin the field training program on July 6.
Deputy Hebda and Deputy Miller will be paired with an experienced Field Training Officer and will undergo a rigorous 12-week field training program.

Deputy Hebda attended Loyola University and received a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology with a Minor in Sociology. Deputy Hebda worked in banking prior to her employment with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputy Miller graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Military Science. Deputy Miller is an active member of the Illinois Army National Guard and worked as a police officer for the Chicago Department of Aviation prior to his employment with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.
