Kendall County Sheriff's Office Updates Health and Safety Guidelines
Kendall County, IL (May 24, 2021, 2:00 PM)Ā
Last week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated the Interim Public Health Recommendations for Fully Vaccinated People in non-healthcare settings. In summary, fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a mask or maintain physical distance in any non-healthcare setting, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance. An Executive Order from Governor Pritzker was issued in line with the CDC guidance to be implemented in the State of Illinois.
Following the current guidance from healthcare professionals, members of the Kendall County Sheriffās Office will no longer be required to wear a mask or maintain social distancing in accordance with the current Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and CDC guidelines.
If an individual has contact with a member of the Kendall County Sheriffās Office in a setting when the use of a mask and/or social distancing would otherwise not be required but requests the Sheriffās Office member wear a mask and/or maintain social distance, that request will be accommodated.
Please visit the IDPH website for current guidance on the use of masks by the general public.Ā https://www.dph.illinois.gov/covid19/community-guidance/mask-useĀ Ā Ā
