Kendall County Sheriff's Office Receives Cases for Narcan Program

The donated cases will help keep the anti-overdose medicine safe.

In order to help combat the ongoing heroin problem in Kendall County, Plano Molding Company donated 12 waterproof and crushproof cases to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office for its Narcan kits, according to a release from the department.

Sheriff’s deputies recently received training to administer Narcan, which helps reverse the effects of opioids such as heroin, methadone and oxycodone. Deputies carry these kits in their squad cars and must be kept in a climate controlled, dry environment and not be crushed. The cases help make that possible.

Plano Molding Outlet Store Manager Becky Lamkin said it was a privilege to support the Narcan program and the sheriff’s office.
