LOCAL DOCTOR NAMED ONE OF PARENTS MAGAZINE " FAVORITE PEDIATRICIANS"

Yorkville, Illinois Integrative Pediatrician Nationally Recognized

Dr. Natalie Lambajian-Drummond, “Dr. Natalie” to her patients, has been recognized for her work in the community and her dedication to her patients. An area native, Dr. Natalie is known to treat all of her patients like family and has been working in the western suburbs as a pediatrician since 2001. Dr. Natalie’s dedication to her patients has long been recognized by parents and her peers and she was nominated after patients started a letter campaign that inspired the editors of Parents magazine to bestow the award on her.

The magazine was sent to subscribers on the 27th of September and is on newsstands October 7th, 2014. A cash award was also made by the magazine to “Stephanie’s Garden”, a memorial garden created by Dr. Natalie in partnership with the Kendall County Forest Foundation. Located in the Hoover Forest Preserve, the play space is dedicated to creating a multi-sensory play place for all children. Stephanie was Dr. Natalie’s close friend who passed away suddenly in 2013 due to an undiagnosed heart condition.

After working for 10 years in a large medical corporation, Dr. Natalie went against the trend in medicine and opened her own independent practice. She was inspired to follow her passion and be fearless in its pursuit after being inspired by the bravery she witnessed caring for a young patient with cancer who succumbed to the disease in 2012. She sought additional training in homeopathic medicine and then completed a 2 year fellowship in Integrative Medicine under Dr. Andrew Weil and Dr. Tieraona Low Dog at the University of Arizona. While she still utilizes her traditional training, she also offers other integrated treatments to patients who are interested.
