Man With Revoked FOID Posted AK-47 Video: Kendall County
A Snapchat video led police to the Yorkville man, who is also accused of violating a no contact/stalking order.

YORKVILLE, IL — A Yorkville man is charged with violating a stalking/no contact order as well as possession of a firearm without a valid FOID after police say he posted a Snapchat video of himself with a weapon. The Kendall County Sheriff's office said they spoke with the Sandwich Police Department after Sandwich officers were forwarded a video of a local man showing an AK-47 rifle and making "statements of a threatening nature."
Police said Travis Cain Miles, 20, of the 12000 block of Church Road, recorded the video and posted it on Snapchat.
He was arrested on charges of possession of a firearm with a revoked FOID as well as a violation of a stalking/no contact order.

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Sandwich Police Department, Yorkville Police Department and Peru Police Department.
On Friday, police said Miles was in custody at the Kendall County jail waiting a bond hearing.

Kendall County court records indicate Miles is due back in court May 22.
