Man Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries After Crashing Into Tree Stump: Kendall Sheriff

The man was the only person involved in the crash in Little Rock Township, investigators said.

YORKVILLE, IL — A 27-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after he crashed into a tree stump Monday evening in Little Rock Township, the Kendall County Sheriff's Office said Thursday.

The man was traveling south on Fox River Drive when the car left the roadway and struck the tree near the intersection with Griswold Springs Road, officials said. The crash happened at about 5:50 p.m.

The Little Rock-Fox Fire Protection District transported the man, who was the sole occupant of the car, to the hospital. The Plano Police Department also assisted in the incident.
