Millbrook Sex Offender Failed to Register as One: Police

A Millbrook sex offender has been charged with failure to register after deputies with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office were made aware that the man was in violation of the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act.

On June 13, 2016, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies conducted an address verification on registered sex offender David Eichelberger, of the 8000 Block of Fox River Drive in Millbrook.

Kendall County deputies began an investigation and on Aug. 17, the Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office charged Eichelberger with one count of failure to register as a sex offender, a Class 3 felony. Eichelberger’s bond was set at $10,000, with 10 percent to apply.

On Aug. 30, 2016, Eichelberger was apprehended in the 8000 Block of Fox River Drive in Millbrook by members of the U.S. Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force.
